Academic Structure & Education Systems in India

Types of Institutions

India has Central Universities, State Universities, Private Universities, and Deemed-to-be Universities, along with Institutes of National Importance like IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, and NITs.

School Education Levels

Primary → Secondary → Higher Secondary (10+2) → Undergraduate Programs (Bachelor’s) → Postgraduate (Master’s) → Doctoral (PhD) or Professional Courses.
